No need, because every comment can be expected to be one of appreciation and recognition that the times are changing. Thailand isn't alone in revoking Royal honours. In countries where there is a historical significance to a Royal recognition, it is essential that the integrity of the award be protected. If the holder of the decoration engages in unacceptable acts, that person brings discredit and embarrassment  to the other people who hold decorations. Revoking an award protects the other innocent holders. I do not envy the officials who had to wait until the final verdict before they could act. 

The convicted criminal is just an awful person and brought shame to everyone he influenced. I don't know if he will change, but the revocation will most likely do far more than any prison sentence, because it tells the person, he did wrong and hurt the nation.
