Divorce that *****. There is no excuse in the world to stay with someone who publicly humiliates and physically abuses you. No doubt this is not the first nor last time she has gotten physical. Anyone that loses their mind over unanswered phone calls is mentally ill to begin with, but it's one thing to go crazy over a cheating husband - and a whole new level of insane to go nuts over him celebrating with his boss and coworkers.

Probably not the first time he was boozing it up. None of my work colleagues go boozing like this. Even when we go out for dinners, everyone has typically informed the spouse or partner what they are doing.

100% agree

Even if this is a problem for them and he's done it before

Doing it with his boss would make him look foolish

That would depend 555

It is also weird

I lived and worked in NYC for a long time

And it has a very active "after work drinking culture"

So the wives sort of understand it

I know many guys with 2/3/4 kids can tell their wife they are going out that day and it's fine

The wives are used to it

Here in Vancouver people don't go our after work as much

So it seems the wives are more sensitive to guys going out

What's the urgency to call 30 times unless an emergency which is obviously not the case here.

Give the man some slack... he is just having a drink with his boss and colleagues.

There is no need to whack him up in front of his co-workers.

Report says the woman "was at the hospital".  Perhaps a family member  or the wife was injured and the husband was needed to authorize care??  The report is very short on details.
