IMO a Nissan Leaf is not a good choice of tourer for several reasons.  All other vehicles are quite suitable.

Leaf @ ~2mil baht will be an expensive choice; low ground clearance & poor visibility ok for city driving, not long distance.  Lack of charging stations in some provinces and poor breakdown service may cause distress.  It's a city car.

Basically this frothy piece of advertorialism does nothing for those planning a road trip in Thailand.

Who is the target audience anyway?

Are they expected to buy the cars or rent them. If rent there is no information on who rent them and most won't rent the 4wd versions anyway.

No real information is given to fuel consumption or road trips where you can charge and electric car....

What about the numbers of passengers in a vehicle.

They also hint at going out of Thailand - but HOW? not in a rental!

What about the routes themselves?..or how about where to stay with facilities for your lovely car?

my guess is that the author has never been on a road trip in Thailand but has received a few press releases from the manufacturers
