Are they serious?? it took them a *week* to "meet" with the perp, evidence against him is all there, and they just let him go on a technicality? they should've arrested him immediately on the day they knew it was him. They don't need a court to arrest a suspect....

What a farcical series of events and the RTP think that their excuses are justifiable. If it didn't have such a tragic ending for an innocent woman it would be classified as a joke. RIP to the poor woman victim.

The word is INCOMPETANCE.

 Did no Police officer notice the date chosen and wonder why or as usual is it too difficult to think outside the box. What is the procedure for arrests after a court is closed for the day....let them go until the morning ? 

Maybe stop slapping each other on the back and taking selfies with criminals and start delivering what the public actually pays you for with some crime prevention.
