"The investigation revealed that Kulltada used her Facebook account, under the name Baifern Kulltada, to discreetly embed links to gambling websites. This method aimed to lure the public, especially young people and those easily influenced, into online gambling. The police traced the activity back to Kulltada and gathered sufficient evidence to present her with formal charges." She clearly knew what she was doing was illegal, how stupid is she to not realise how easy it would be for even the largely inept Royal Thai Police to catch her from a social media account? -

That does not happen in the UK. There are no outbound Immigration checks in the UK, hence they have no idea how many leave as opposed to stay. They tried to introduce such checks some years ago, but abandoned the idea shortly after. UK Airlines and ferries are obliged to check and record outbound passenger details, but not foreign carriers and the list is only kept for 60 days.- 1
