Never ever use social media to insult the wealthy or elite or you know who, when in Thailand. The ones I mean are the ones that require proof of who you are - Facebook especially - but also those that require a phone number to verify - which nowadays includes Twitter.  The Thai Govt can force those companies to provide them with your contact details. For an Expat that can be deep poopoo boys and girls. Not good for the Thaiger and not good for all of us.

Good advice.

Hopefully the thought police are too busy trolling thru Thai language LINE and farcebook content - you'd be amazed just how much crap is being posted.

But take note of AussieBob's recommendation as he's spot on!

Fake News is false or misleading information presented as news. It often has the aim of damaging the reputation of a person or entity, or making money through advertising revenue. However, the term does not have a fixed definition, and has been applied more broadly to include any type of false information, including unintentional and unconscious mechanisms, and also by high-profile individuals to apply to any news unfavourable to his/her personal perspectives.

So what happens to a politician or high ranking official who lies or presents false information at a press release?  Do you say they lied or presented/published fake news? Can a complaint be filed against them?

and to give an example:

James Hacker:
It was the one question today to which I could give a clear, simple, straightforward, honest answer.

Sir Humphrey Appleby:
Yes. Unfortunately although the answer was indeed clear, simple and straightforward, there is some difficulty in justifiably assigning to it the 4th of the epithets you applied to the statement, in as much as the precise correlation between the information you communicated and the facts, in so far as they can be determined and demonstrated is such as to cause epistemological problems of sufficient magnitude as to lay upon the logical and semantic resources of the English language a heavier burden than they can reasonably be expected to bear.

James Hacker:
What are you talking about?

Sir Humphrey Appleby:
You... told a lie.

Who in their right mind, would use any legitimate credentials on either of those godforsaken websites? At any rate, neither of them require any such thing. Unless it's a regional thing, which still would be easily circumvented.

Fans of the British series Yes Minister, will be delighted with this spoof brand-new episode of Ivermectine - the Sir Humphrey tapes.  And also those that have never seen that series will enjoy this one!

so long story short they went to America, maybe accidently  arrived without correct vaccinations so were kindly given them to enable the jumps to go ahead I'm guessing.

A real heart warming story of Helping hands and obviously confirms Thailand has no planes suitable for jumping out of safely.

People who 'live' in their smartphones do - and many others too. And many people do not know who to circumvent those sort of things.

The average IQ of the Thai Army suggests they just might parachute from a sub.

Now that has to be fake news when they have a higher dust collecting aircraft carrier with no aircraft..

But as it looks, things are seriously heating up and little superficial egos are easily hurt when one has the little man complex craving everyone to see how big their boots are. And in the end their boots are huge like how Italy looks from space..
