I'm becoming increasingly alarmed at the political angle of your journalists, and here's a good example.  First, how dare you select that photo from all the thousands you could choose from?  Meghan is so hated by most of Britain yet you stick her face in. It's selection has a specific purpose.

As to the text, no wonder it is written with such an anti-Royalist stance if your source is the Guardian.  You so rightly explain that he gets 'the sovereign grant' - a quarter share of the revenue from the Crown Estates. So, he gets to keep a quarter of this revenue that's generated by the monarchy anyway, but you conveniently fail to mention that three-quarters (£260 million) of the monarchy's rewards are passed to the Treasury for government spending.  Without the monarchy, both amounts would be zero.

You also rightly say that the Crown Jewels don't belong to him, so why mention their value at all in this piece?  

Finally in your/the Guardian's attempt at undermining our heritage, you make no mention of the wealth Britain receives via 'Royal' tourism.  In a recent survey, the royal aspect was voted the Number 1 attraction for overseas tourists coming to Britain.

Surprised a Thai news outlet makes this attack on our monarchy given the wealth, traditions and heritage of your monarchy, which is also much respected and enjoyed by your foreign tourists, and the lese majeste law you abide by.

The Guardian is always extremely biased.  I suggest you read more widely.

So the King is rich; so what?  Its the Monarchy that is rich, not just the individual on the Throne.  Who wants a pauper as a King.

That may be so, but I doubt that very many would change places with him.  Its the most soul destroying job I can imagine.  Good luck to him, he needs it.
