If need to gamble, then better go to a casino and gamble. Don't set up your own gambling tent, especially in Thailand. Now you all have to face the consequences as the Thai lady who has arranged for your vacation has already made her money and bid you good bye. She will easily escape any punishment as she is not involved in the gambling. Enjoy your stay in Thai prison and take back home all those memorable events in the prison. What a wonderful life time memorable vacation.

Yeah, but gambling is illegal in Thailand, err, except for the lottery or horse racing. I find it literally impropable that the hotel did not know what was going on.

It is very obvious that the organizer and the hotel have played ignorance the fact that everything has been brought in by the tourists themselves. Let them enjoy their Thailand vacation and all will have another individual vacation when back home
