So now you can get from Bangkok to Pattaya in a nice bus for just 190 Baht? Also starting at a nice air-conditioned shopping mall? My guess, not only "shopaholics" will use that.

"The proposed bus route will connect Central World, Central Pattaya, and Central Village, with one round fare per person at 190 baht. For route and schedule information, which may be subject to change, tourists can visit the information desks at participating Central Malls."

Looks like still the tourists have the chance of being left behind and cannot go back to their place of stay after the journey. Unless they come out with a proper fixed schedule on the transportation, nothing is going to make life easy for tourists.

The bus doesn't look much of an upgrade over what you get at BKK for 140 THB. The airport has Aircon and overpriced food and shops as well.

Lets see if they put a block on travelers with suitcases to prevent the non shoppers taking advantage of the handy transport between the two holiday destinations.

Not talking for people going to BKK and from there to Pattaya.

Have you been at Ekamai Bus terminal? Public bus to Pattaya?

Has a 7/11, yes, but no aircon waiting area in the open air terminal ;-)

Also it will drop you at the Mall in Pattaya, not just at the bus terminal of Pattaya.

Which get you easier access to the baht bus services.

From Central Bangkok to Central Pattaya is a good connection, methinks.

And central has reasonable priced food . Compared to the Airport, at least.
