Why? Would you torture them too to extract a confession?  The hieves were in the home for 4 hours+. That  certainly indicates that someone close to the homeowner knew the family schedule, and such a person will most likely be  a family member, not a CCTV installer who had no knowledge of the  contents of the safe.
