Score: 3  I blew the arrival date and the head count. I thought there were more than the  answer. No mosques around me so I am spared the  morning call to prayers.

I may be the only white guy who likes the Call to Prayers

Find it soothing

Especially the one at dusk

Here's another white guy who likes them.

Every time I go to visit my wife's parents, we stay at a place called Titanium Square in East Jakarta. It's the only tall building for miles around in a very densely populated area. Multiple mosques within earshot.

We're always on a high floor. It's truly surreal to hear the afternoon call(s) to prayer as I sit on the balcony with my daily sundowner.

I got the arrival date incorrect. Had always thought around 1200 AD, Just checked, Thai Embassy in KSR claims...

Islam is said to have been introduced to the Malay Peninsula by Arab traders and adventures during the 13th century.

That is like in Istanbul, in many hotels. More an attraction for tourists.

But: You can just go inside, close the windows, and quiet it is.

Would you still like it, if you have to hear it 5 times a day?

I don`t!

Istanbul must be similar to Jakarta, similar size etc.

I don't hear the morning call to to prayer in my soundproof room, the rest of the day, whatever, I just get used to it. The only one I really notice is the sunset one and I actually quite like it.

Probably why the system didn't want me to play.

Must admit that I researched this subject a few months ago out of interest, which I'm sure had a great influence on my score.
