This was floated in the UK, there it was getting the over-fifties back into the workplace. Apart from the poor pay and conditions in the hospitality sector, there is also a deep-rooted age bias - this is bad enough in the UK were it is actually illegal to discriminate by age, I get the feeling that it is probably much worse in Thailand.
