Better to avoid suck quaking places....

One of the first things I learned as a landlord and Airbnb host (when I used to do either - I don't now) was that no good deed goes unpunished - renters and guests who demand a discount don't actually appreciate it - they think the original price was too high and they DESERVE the lower price. They treat the place accordingly and will break and destroy things carelessly.

All of this could've been avoided if they stuck to normal guests willing to pay the normal price and/or charged the deposit so the guests have more incentive to be mindful of causing damage. Luckily this is only 500 baht - but they could've damaged a lot more.
