Intelligent guy, an Army Driver can hack computers of Government to get data ?  or the Government data is so easy to pick up.  In any case it is a wake up call for Thai Government.

The spokesperson emphasized that the suspect’s actions were a personal matter and had nothing to do with his military service since he was only a driver in the Army Transportation Department in Nonthaburi province.

It's beyond doubt the actions were private (especially the nation-wide blackmail attempt; any intelligence operation would intend to stash the data gathered), but an argument like "he was only a driver" is a needless (and somewhat sad) appeal to the stereotype that drivers are comparable to insignificant beasts of burden -- even if they happen to be sergeant majors with easy access to login credentials.

If the suggestions (about the possibility of abusing accounts) are correct, trying to get 1~2 persons before a judge right now shouldn't get all the focus or attention. It's much more interesting what's going to be done about trying to prevent all types of breaches (especially security breaches of governmental mass data), since that concerns millions of people for the unforeseeable future.

for being absent without leave (AWOL) since April 3.

This year or last or the year before that.

Do 3 months basic and then sign a few bank docs and off to your old life. TIT
