Is it really corruption if it is the way things are done every day in every aspect of life and business?  Where do I find the outline for what is and isn't ok?

Corruption in Thailand, well what a surprise. Is there any area of Thai life that corruption does not touch, from the national government down.

I am not saying corruption is good but at least in places like Thailand every day people might benefit from it at times

Because there is massive corruption in every country

Look at the US and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas

He's been getting bribed to the tune of millions of dollars

And that corruption is to then vote against a lot of the American's people wishes

I think the US is 100x more corrupt than Thailand and their corruption impacts it's citizens way worse

At least in places like Thailand corruption is somewhat transactional and you can get something out of it
