Always makes me laugh when they come out with these "worth 10m baht" lines. 

Yeah, if you sold every gram on its own at 4000 a go just maybe. Chances of that happening though are pretty small.

Not necessarily a setup. One of the first questions a Thai cops asks a person caught with drugs is “Where did you get it?” In exchange for the info the cops can petition the court to reduce the person’s sentence by around 30% provided the info caught a bigger fish. It’s called a 100/2, it’s legal and common AF.

People like this lady are set up with a small amount and the true couriers with the large hauls  then get through

Probably had two other couriers on the plane.

"Usually", there is not just one "mule" on a plane/flight day for them. 

Giving one of em up, the chances to get the others through getting higher.

Even more, if the officers may get brown envelopes, every now and then.
