I went on a trip out of Bangkok to see the Bryde’s whales a few years ago it lasted best part of a whole day and was well worth the money, saw about ten of these magnificent creatures and then on the return journey we saw two Irrawaddy dolphins. I think it was in October but if you are interested I recommend the trip, they don’t get too close to disturb the animals but you can clearly see them scooping up shoals of fish.
