When did the authorities last check the clinic for licensing? Ever? Never?

When did the patient last check anything... her health record... the necessity for the operation... the risks involved... the license and reputation of the clinic... not condoning the clinic but self awareness saves lives.

They certainly should prosecute the clinic for the death of this person.

With that said, who would go in for any surgical procedure without doing some checking on the clinic and surgeon to determine they were competent.

More importantly, with a person in obvious distress who would not take the person to the hospital or call for medical assistance.
