It never ceases to amaze me how many times I read "operating a club without a license" or "operating past normal/allowed hours"?

Do the municipal authorities know nothing?  If a new club/restaurant/bar opens, they should be visited on the first day, or even before they open, as it won't be a surprise, to see that all of their paper is in order.

As for operating beyond business hours, that's just police not doing their jobs of patrolling neighborhoods or business districts.

And police or governor "recommend" the business closes?  Put a padlock on the door, for goodness sake.
