Back on topic ... I got Q5 wrong.  I would have expected a responsible Government to seek an improvement in crop production. Was Democrats back then IIRC.

No, we need to feed Quincy rice, but she doesn't want her rice and his rice coming from the same cooker

 

So I have to buy 2 different rick cookers!

Rice cookers in Thailand are designed for 220v use.
Canada is 110v.
You'd need a transformer to use electrical appliances from Thailand in Canada.

No we buy them in Canada

 

The two we have had have lasted a long time, well the 1st one really long
