I find it rather comical that Don Mueang was relegated to the waste bin after The Swamp opened and now it's back to being a hot property.

Anything else would have required some forward planning.  I wonder if it is even possible to translate "forward planning" into Thai?

A bit unrelated.. but are taxis from Don Mueang a problem these days ? i.e long queues ?

They can be quite long at times, yes

 

We did Grab and it came fast and was fairly easy to find outside the door

So you just order on the spot and one arrives pretty quickly generally ?

We ordered and there were plenty available 

Took about 6-7mins and they met us right outside terminal door
