Another day, another Thai guy shoots his ex. I wonder if he's in the army or just another jealous ex who can't move on. Why the government allows Thai's to buy firearms is a mystery as they're not needed and often used to kill women.

We can't blame the man or the girl. Both needs some comfort initially. Later the girl might have felt that the new comfort is hotter than the old comfort. So in the end...it is a disaster for both. Now both have lost their comforts permanently.

Why (other than money) would a 26 year old woman date a 52 year old man? Literally twice her age. Probably a sugar-daddy "relationship" gone very wrong.

Wouldn't surprise me if she found a much more generous sugar daddy and moved on from the alleged initial sugar daddy.  The new sugar daddy may have been farang and therefore had more sugar to provide.  But who knows.

Um yes we can blame the man. We can blame the man entirely for shooting her in the head.

Ending an inappropriate relationship doesn't deserve being shot in the head. He is Clearly a very unstable and abusive man

A sad story but this is Thailand.  This is a society where women like to be controlled, unfortunately.  I can’t win conversations with Thai women here asking them why.  To me, this only reinforces the notion for women here to do what the man says, whether you live together or provinces apart.  I know Thai women here harassed by their their partner (even if the man is seeing multiple women) if there’s any inkling of a breakup.  It’s a different culture here.

Are you for real? Can't blame the man for murdering the woman? Maybe in your culture, but not in the civilized world is it acceptable to murder in this manner. Seriously, what's next, a heartfelt speech in favour of public stoning or tossing widows on funeral pyres?

unfortunately many males do not posses guns nor interested in wasting their life by shooting their women, if there is an opportunity, ofcourse this men will shoot down with better guns and bullets.
