Finally, vindicated. All my life I have been plagued by people that insisted that an early start is natural and normal, when my body was telling me it wasn't - a week of 7.00am starts would leave me exhausted, the same but with 11.00am starts was fine. Since retiring I have actually shifted to being semi-nocturnal.
