So a drill bit breaks off and they don't bother to find the broken bit, or wonder where it went?  Unbelievable.  I hope that  she gets jezzillions in compensation.

I am sorry, but this doctor needs to forfeit to the woman half of his life savings. For me, the guy should resign or if doesn't then be re-evaluated. Why? Too tired and over worked? Not care?

After re-evaluation they will find he was above the criteria for a public servant above the caring level of police or politician. Care factor for Thai people, above and beyond.

This isn't just a Thai thing, this happens all over the world in western countries too.  Medical malpractice is a part of health care, most docs and surgeons and nurses don't care about patients, they have quotas to meet and are just trying to run through as many appointments and surgeries as quickly as possible.  Health care today is laughable.
