I would actually like to see the real percent of Lady boy kids who turn into adults who will or eventually go into the Thai bar scene of adult entertainment industry even if it is a nighttime jolly thing for them outside of their day job. My guess would be 80%.

I wouldn't say it's that high.

Just based on seeing how many work regular jobs

Still a fair bit, I'd assume 

 

In the US, it's probably that high because it's not as accepted there as in Thailand

Where there exists what anthropologists used to call a 'third sex' category, it assimilates by nature to normal life. So in Southeasr Asia, they will gravitate to normal employment. Of course prostitution is quite well accepted in Thailand, or rather, in parts of Thailand. So that's why the apparent numbers will be so high

I don't want to defend their behavior, nor infaltilise them, but look at their young ages. Criminologically, young men and women get groomed into becoming groomers themselves, so as to supply older people, who pay them for it. Wether or not they are ladyboys or 'transgenders', they are probably not into kids themselves, so they're not 'perverted' if so. One wonders if their full names weren't given because they are supplying information to the police?

I would be surprised if it was that high. I suspect that fairly high percentage pass through the adult entertainment industry as a way of financing their surgery,  though.
