I know that there are Thais who love beef, but that doesn't mean that Northern Thais love beef. Most of them love pork and not beef. The most tasty pork noodle that I had in Northern Thailand is in Sukohthai in the outskirt of the town Grandma Sommai Noodle Shop". You won't get that taste in the city.
