A herd of around 50 wild elephants has migrated into farmland in Loei province in northeast Thailand, destroying 2000 rai of crops so far. There is no sign of them retreating back into the forest. After they come down from their sugar high they will need to attend elephant rehab camp in order to cure their addiction?  Will a sugar substitute be given?  

I hope they can get clean and move on to greener pastures.

This is not a new phenomena... quit trying to invent the wheel and look at other successes that have dealt with this problem... there are solutions already tried and trued
