With many foreigners drowning in the sea indicates that they are not familiar with swimming in the sea. May be many are excellent swimmers in the swimming pond. However there is a vast difference in swimming in stagnant water and running water especially the river and sea where there are waves if different intensity. Wearing a float or life jacket only helps in maintaining the buoyancy of the body to keep afloat. It is not ment for swimming in the sea. We are not sure what happen in this situation.....let us wait for things to unfold

Normally is a rip current if you have ever experienced one of them. Creates an undertow which unless you know how to navigate it becomes fatiguing and last thing you do in life trying to get back to the shore.. Been there, done that, don't play with it under extreme conditions.
