Utterly unacceptable. In accordance with normal procedures, I would expect the cabin staff must have reported the cabin secure to the flight deck crew before landing ,  when it was nothing of the sort.  It may only have been three seats, but it shows an unacceptably cavalier attitude to flight safety.  I hope that someone is held to be responsible and sacked. Had it been on my aircraft during my airline days, I would have ensured that at least the Cabin Manger would have been held to account. But it would not have happened on the airline I worked for.

Unfortunately not.  If I had failed to make the grade as a fast jet pilot, C130s would have been my choice.  That is not to suggest that C130 aircrew weren't every bit as professional and accomplished as any fast jet puke, it s just a different tasking and set of abilities.
