Only if there isn't underlying pathology. Otherwise the creation of briefings for natal women, for which it is indicated, would also not be medicine. BTW castration was rare in SE Asia, historically as it was in pre-Islamic S Asia, the region that steered by exanple, the direction of most SE Asian cultures. The sex change surgery of today is, were it not obvious, a modern thing, following western preceents. It is not in the least primitive, and the way of thinking of the healthcare as cosmetic, is healthier than western I distance that it 'assigns' someone.
