Well let's hope it is not a money grab by a family member or was from and altercation as I will show you because the walking wallet pot of gold did not openly give out free money . BTW. Just a thought, but does someone know what religion the brother and family are? Not pointing a finger but was infidelity a motive? Jealousy? In any case let the real truth come out and not a cover up.

They may well be awaiting the autopsy, which may or may not conclude suicide. However, much of the vital forensic evidence will have been missed, lost or destroyed by first attenders. If this woman was strangled and then hung fairly soon afterwards, it will be hard for an autopsy to determine cause of death as both cause similar injuries. Far more important are other on-site forensics.

The problem in Thailand is that first responders are often not forensically trained police as they are in developed countries. The guys in the pick up arrive, take a few pictures on their mobile phone (often then placed on their Facebook!) and the victim is cut down and taken away. In such a situation it’s clear to see that vital forensics are destroyed or simply never collected.

If senior police have already stated this is suicide, then nothing conclusive in the autopsy will likely overturn this. Job done and no one will ever know. Maybe this woman did hang herself? Maybe she was murdered and then hung? The family will never know and the perpetrator, if murdered, will go on with their life. Until Thailand changes to make a potential crime scene such as this off limits until full forensics are collected, then murders will go unpunished.

Sounds like this is exactly what this is - now that his personal ATM (sister) is gone - the brother is turning to the source to try and grab a bigger payday. For the life of me I wouldn't understand why Thai women who are so strong otherwise, are so weak when Thai men ask them for money - just say no.

Important facts, she tried to report him to the police and they didn't.

Conclusion: He was important to the police monetarily.

He offered the brother (or family) 500,000 baht to shut up.

Conclusion:  Guilty, (if innocent, why pay to shut them up?).

Finally, the cops says the Canadian didn't do it, even before the autopsy results are out.

Conclusion:  This could have probably have cost a lot more than the 500,000 offered to said brother, and brother loses out on some big money.

Sad all around, especially for the youngish girl who had a life ahead of her, if she had just dumped her violent boyfriend and moved on....   R.I.P.
