Yes it’s becoming an all too common story on the media that police aren’t interested until their inaction is exposed. Perhaps they’re too busy with other paying employment supplementing their income.

Sure seems that way lately - they are completely uninterested in pursuing cases unless they are either paid or it goes viral or on the news.

I don't understand why Thai society has so much compassion for "mental illness" - mentally ill people who have random violent tendecies towards strangers for no reason belong in an institution - lock them up for everyone's safety.
