Now that puts the question about ethylene gas used in fruits in the fresh market for human consumption. Of course there are many other methods the sellers are using to make the fruits look fresh like flushing them in Clorox diluted water and many other chemicals available on the street.....

Tourists shouldn’t be feeding elephants. Simple as that. I do hope the tourists involved are aware that they have killed this animal. Accidental as it obviously was, that’s not the point. These amazing animals should not be chained up and used to entertain inquisitive tourists who want a picture to post on Facebook.
