Are these the same people who failed to extradite an American woman, Anne Sacoolas who killed a young English guy Harry Dunn in 2019 and jumped on a plane and is still refusing to return to the U.K.

Typical US hypocrisy! One rule for us and no rules for the rest of the planet!

Why do you think the US does not adopt the metric system?

Thai Gov (Police) can help find this lady and can help find the UK fugitive (the drug smuggler), but the Thai Gov can not ask for help to get "The Boss" extradited back to Thailand ...  Amazing!

No . BTW, Sacoolas went on trial last October and plead guilty. Proceedings were conducted by the UK, even though the extradition issue was not completed. She received a penalty slightly harsher than others with a first time offence and no prior criminal or dangerous driving convictions.

The issue with Sacoolas was that she had the benefit diplomatic service protection. The UK wanted the USA to waive the protection and defendant legal counsel asserted the position that the US could not lift the protection. Singling out the US government as being the main point of resistance is unfair. The USA had to tread carefully as the case could have set a precedent.  It's not as if the UK has doesn't similar elsewhere. It was only a few years ago that UK sailors raped a woman in Halifax Canada and tried to hide behind foreign service immunity.

What hypocrisy? The position was consistent with other foreign governments. Please provide a case where the UK willingly surrendered an accused military or diplomatic person to a foreign country?

“Tried” being the key word and ultimately the sailor was acquitted by the courts.

Fully appreciate the diplomatic issue. It didn’t need the government to set a precedence, the woman in question should have never fled the country.

I’ll concede all countries get involved in such issues. It’s time for diplomatic immunity rules and laws need to be reconsidered.

Returned to a country where killing someone on the road is the norm.  Probably became a monk for a week and continued life as normal.

Sadly this is probably true, gave some merit and moved on as if nothing ever happened.
