Bit pointless these days but there always used to be a bit of hash available back in the day via folks coming from India etc. 

Only 100 baht a gram too according to their calculations.

Oops.. hash is a Category 5 drug so not such a big deal. Smuggling any illegal drug in commercial quantities into Thailand is very naughty so he’ll be dining on fish heads & cabbage in the monkey house for quite a few years.
