CCSA spokesman Natapunu Nopakun of the Dept of Information in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been presenting Thailand’s Covid updates daily for many months.

As the new Delta Covid crisis deepens, from next week CCSA will only provide the public Covid news on Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

Covid is taking weekends off now?!?

For Thailand’s daily statistics, I hope we can still rely on Dr. Peter Scully: https://petescully.co.uk/research/covid19-thailand-dashboards/. I hope he doesn’t rely on CCSA!

This is one more FAILED responce by a FAILED govt. What’s endemic in Thai govt is FAILURE.

More Siam BS!

PRAYUTH, YOU CAN’T HIDE THE TRUTH! GET THE EFF OUT!

BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS. This is your legacy.

History will remember you as the PM who stole Thailand from its people, destroyed democracy, tore up our Constitution, stole an election & made our kingdom a military serfdom.

I am not surprised they have cut back their briefing. Not agreeing with the decision to do so, just been expecting it for a while as the content of each has substantially fallen.

Unfortunately, I feel that too often now it comes across as spin/justification rather than the real briefing it was perhaps intended to be. Not sure if the quality will improve now they have cut down the quantity!

I agree with Smithydog. It's a bad thing they decide to reduce the briefing of numbers. As this could now result into the Sandbox being in treat by Monday and closed by Wednesday.

Unluckily there's not a lot we can do.
