This is great to see, but I do hope this isn’t going to be a regular feature like the Covid case numbers were. 
 

The whole world is getting back to normal. This shouldn’t be news for more than a week or two. Most countries are way ahead of Thailand in terms of getting back to normal and that’s why foreign arrivals are returning to pre-pandemic levels. It’s happening everywhere. In the U.K. figures for 2023 are predicted at 35.1 million visitors, which is 86% of 2019.

Given there where 11 million arrivals in 2022 (on 1 July 2022 all COVID hurdles where dropped), last months prediction of 20 million for 2023 seemed reasonably optimistic, but certainly not without the Chinese (which has yet to largly materialize), so the revision to 30 million this month just seems wishful. But let's face it, this is going to be an ongoing sage until they hit 40 million again and they can finally say Thailand is back.

Exactly. How Ef’in boring can they get.  I can see we will be subjected to article after article of how it’s 30 million bringing X baht. Then aiming for 35 million generating Y baht. Now, wait for it, drum roll…… The prediction is it will get to 39 million generating Y baht.

As they predict Russia will need more soldiers in the front line so they will up their conscription by lowering the conscription requirements. 30 million maybe this time a bit low of a figure by the TAT for once.
