A crazy Russian woman bites the tip of a finger off of a British woman who was walking on the beach with her friend, a German former Olympian, and spat the finger out into the sand on the Koh Pha Ngan beach.

Not unusual for these people. All Russians should  be sent back to Russia and denied international travel until their genocide in Ukraine stops, Putin is charged with war crimes and compensation is paid to the Ukrainians.  Until then ALL Russians are unacceptable in any civilized society. 'Taring them all with the same brush'?  Absolutely.

Call it racism if that makes you feel netter, many would call it realism.  I don't hide behind it as some others do. The Russians have been my potential enemy ever since I was old enough to understand the meaning of the word. For 24 years in the UK Military, I trained to defeat them in war. For the 50 years of the Cold War, they held a gun at the heads of the Free Nations, while subjugating other Nations in pursuit of their Communist ideals.  Since that time, they have done nothing to change the perception of that Nation as the biggest threat to world peace of any other peoples, as they have been since WW2.  The war with Ukraine  serves to show that this view is correct and is shared by most if not all of the Free World.   This is not racism, its recognizing and acknowledging the situation that the World finds itself in.  Russia eventually needs to come in from the cold, or be dealt with, peacefully if at all possible, but militarily if need be. The very worst thing that can happen is to, in your words, keep it 'behind closed doors'. Fortunately, the Free World does not share your limited and naïve view.
