The Thai father said…“I gave him money every day but not enough to pay for drugs, so he steals to pay for his habit.”

It seems not as straightforward as the headline "Why kill my sick son?"

Typical misleading headline.  The real victim here is the shooter….and the many neighbors who had to put up with an uncontrollable menace. If the deceases’ father had done what he needed to do, he would have chained his son in his room whenever he left the house. His son would still be alive if he was incarcerated by authorities like he should have been.

We obviously don’t have the full details, but as they are presented, it’s hard to have sympathy. It would be interesting to  know if this guy had mental health issues prior to taking drugs, or brought on by the drugs. Whatever the details, the world is a better place for this guy having left it. I’m sure the father is upset and possibly devastated by the loss of his son, but he too will have a better life now he’s gone.
