As a Thai , no matter how much money you have and the ways you made it , you will not be ending as a happy person abroad .

Thats the way i know thai people and i also think this addresses T.S. well .

He has a spiritual sense at the end deep inside of him , just that money and power took over in a time .

I don't believe that is the case for many Thais 

 

I think a lot of Thais feel like you do

My wife is one of them

Not that she's unhappy in Canada bit she's never thought of it as permanent 

But I haven't as well....

 

But just as many or more Thais are very happy and content living abroad 

 

I'm thinking of the 50 or so people my wife works with

And I'd say 40 of them are happy and don't have any yearning to live back in Thailand 

Maybe in retirement but that is no different than any other person
