This is why hunters in Western countries wear an item of fluorescent clothing whilst hunting. Camouflage hides you from fellow hunters as well as animals.

That's not fair.  Give the animals a chance at least and require all hunters to dress up in animal costumes, so that it evens up the odds, that one or more of them will be taken out by their brave mates. Now that is fair.

Sad. Perhaps the gunman mistook him for a wild bore?

Couldn’t imagine doing this and having to live with it for the remainder of your life. I could see this a time to become a monk to try to heal. Devastating for sure.

Speaking of wild boar, are they getting out of control like they are in the USA everywhere now? Just a wondering.

Probably but Thailand being Thailand about 10 people must die before they get serious and declare them a problem.

I personally don't give a fig how many of these 'brave hunters' get gunned down by their equally idiotic mates, or how many wild animals get their teeth, fangs , or poison into them.  I am supremely indifferent to their fate.

Most 'wild bores' seem to inhabit Pattaya Bars, well maybe not wild, but certainly bores.
