Opening  trade talks is not the same as being ready to conclude a FTA. i don't see an FTA being concluded anytime soon because the EU FTA requires Thailand to agree to uphold various practices in respect to;           i. Corruption, ii. Environmental protection, iii. Child labour, and iv. Human Rights
