One thing I like in Thailand is the "Nong Khap" to get a server's attention 

Especially here in Vancouver 

I throw out a "Nong Khap" in a Thai restaurant here and their head whips around and they always seem happy to hear it from some white guy in Canada 5555

Nong if they are younger... Pee if they are older... if you really want to impress them put a sao/chai in their for female or male (nong sao khap)

Well it does get dicey if they appear to be the same age as you with the nong/pee

 

But as a female stranger I will default to "nong" to make her feel better

 

Thai girls, like all females, still prefer for you to think the are younger 5555
