Why wait? I am sure they can figure out a faster way to ruin the country and all its beaatiful attributes of beaches nature and quaint will used to be wonderful cities and towns. They by bringing and welcoming back the Chinese wanting them in huge numbers will have already accomplished this for here foir the second time. Before and then after China Covid struck. Shame on them the out of touch brainless carells ones trying to lead the country by eyes closed.

The crystal ball has spoken again....80 million X USD12 = USD 960 million in the pocket with no sweat. Wait....wait...wait a moment.....first try to avoid another pandemic wave in few months time. That is more critical now.

I think the photo under the header shows exactly what the future of the once beautiful Thai beaches is. The leaders have no respect for their own land.

Are they completely mad?

The highest so far has been nearly 40 million,

People are attracted to Thailand for its natural resources - they are already seriously damaged (se the photo on the article).

for decades Thailand has failed to mange tourism in a sustainable way - you here pronouncements from various nabobs about "high-end" tourism "eco" tourism" and now ultra-mass tourism, they all show the total ineptitude of those in high office when it comes to tourism - the only comfort we can take is that it is unlikely ever to happen, and we can sit back and watch as Thailand progressively poops in it's own nest.
