Malaysia is responding to China’s recently lifted Covid restrictions with plans to tighten its borders. The Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, announced the country’s plans come as fears mount over another Covid wave due to China. According to the Straits Times, the Cabinet is choosing to prioritise health over the economy. “We will control and tighten (our borders) even more, including (travellers) from the US and China.” Anwar says the current plans are not biased against any particular nation, despite his statement mentioning the US and China. He says that tightening the country’s borders was for all travellers, not just China. But, […]

A wonderful, proper response from one of our close neighbours. Now, if only our China-loving rollovers would do a monkey-see, monkey-do. Unfortunately, the almighty baht gets in the way of sanity and country security, plus instructions from on-high in Beijing, so that will never happen.

Actually, the last sentence should read "for those making border runs to Malaysia from Thailand or other countries, it is best to reconsider your need to travel down there at this time in case the borders are shut or a quarantine is imposed." Go to Vietnam, Laos or Cambodia instead. Or better yet, don't go anywhere in case Thailand imposes mandatory vaccination, then the unvaccinated will be locked out.

Rofl. You obviously didn't read the Bangkok Post article last night that quoted Anutin as agreeing to the mandatory vaccination proposal for all arrivals not just those from China, entering Thailand. Random testing is also expected as well as an insurance requirement (mentioned in previous articles).

Article Quote: The ministry also says it will run PCR tests on sewage samples from aircraft arriving from China. For those making border runs to Malaysia from Thailand or other neighbouring countries, it is best to be prepared to undergo Covid tests with the possibility of having to enter a quarantine facility.

Unfortunately by the time in the next few days of the Chinese having left their covid bat nests and travelled to Thailand or VN or Cambodia it will have been too late to stave off the CPP's Wuflu and any new mutation from spreading. Either just say no to the CPP and their people or get ready for a possible an more than likley scenario of here we go again. Why anyone cowers and cater bows down to the CPP is beyond me. rome wasn;t built in a day and the world has fared lots of long range changes, so the world should buckle down and do a long range plan to get rid of the dependence on the CCP and what was stupidly built making them strong as they are. Let them eat cake, or bat guano for as much as I care.
