Travelling to Buriram after Phuket sandbox

Does  anyone know what situation will / might be when I arrive in Buriram after 14 days in the Phuket SANDBOX 

I planning to travel by bus to try avoid any time in BKK but still suggestion I may have to do 14 days in a hotel in Buriram .

Any info would be appreciated as can't find anything official. 

I suspect it will be a case of que sera sera upon arrival??

The stay in Phuket should qualify as your "quarantine"  as far as I have read up to now.

The terms are you either leave Phuket AND Thailand or stay 2 weeks in Phuket, then you

can travel to other destinations. I know someone in Buriram and she told me they are not requiring

quarantine for visitors to the province.

 

I am planning a trip soon, and will have to quarantine

in Phuket same as you before mt fiancee and I can continue on to Chiang Mai.

Buriram is notoriously strict and a bit of a rebel when it comes to requiring quarantine on arrival.  The governor there basically does what he wants and ignores the government.  I would advise you to have your quarantine facility call some hotels in Buriram and ask the current situation prior to your departure, as the situation seems to change fairly rapidly at the moment, which is the norm for Thailand to be fair.

I flew into Buriram on the 17th, no dramas at all. Just follow the people's examples and all should be good.
