Errrr.point of order. Women go to women's prisons, men go to men's prisons. No-one will be 'united' due to these arrests. Plus the Thais and the Chinese dont recognize Christmas, not being Christian. Write about something, anything, real for a change.

Look, corruption in Asia is business. The top of the foodchain holds the answer. Didn't a fee years ago, a Deputy Prime Minister was convicted of human trafficking that caused the lives of scores of Rohingya at the Malaysian-Thai border? And you think the West is clean? Hello, it's Hunter Biden's laptop!

"As is standard police procedure in Bangkok, Tuhao’s wife Wanthanaree and all the other suspects had been given weeks of advanced notice of their arrests."...speaks volumes as to the justice system of Thailand. Lock up and fine the old lady caught picking mushrooms in the forest but these imps will butter the muffins of power. On a side note this article was better written than most in the past. My hat's off the the author.
