Taken against their will? Ummm.

They should be arrested for their scamming activities in Cambodia.  I’m sure they won’t, as the Thai half of this mess will be well connected.

Being imprisoned (within the context of the article that's short for: being surrounded by an electric fence causing inability to leave) is one of few things that is stated as a fact (likely that was just a slip-up, since so many other claims were between quotes: at least some single or double quotes -- I couldn't detect any rationale to explain the seemingly inconsistency of choices throughout the article -- could have been put around "electric", ‘fence’, ‘inability" or "leave’). NB: if I was imprisoned in "that way" and then "set free", I'd consider myself rescued and not ‘rescued’.

There's much more I dislike about the article but it's all similar. It should have been placed in the category  of "unsubstantiated and superficial opinions disguised as news".
