The new schedule, released today and promoted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in a press release this afternoon, will feature a morning, afternoon, and evening flight option. So, will these be dedicated Samui Plus flights or a mix of international and domestic travelers? Given what happened at Phuket with the forced quarantine of the entire group associated with one infected traveler, packing a group of new arrivals in with a group of unvaccinated domestic travelers is likely to end up with everybody in quarantine.

Judging by the flight times these flights will use the smaller ATR72 aircraft, not the Airbus they've recently been using on this route. So if the reopening is successful, more people will be packed closer together for a longer time. Does this make sense?

According to flightradar, they are all with A319.

Recent PG (Bangkok Airways) flights between BKK and CNX  are scheduled as A319 with the majority changing to ATR42 if pax numbers are very low.

Check FlightAware history for details.  It's a very fluid situation and equipment changes or cancellations are common.

Sure, I can't forecast, I just reported what's currently scheduled.
