The massive fire at the chemical factory on the outskirts of Bangkok, billowing toxic gas into the air, affected around 80,000 people. An explosion at the Ming Dih Chemical polystyrene factory in Samut Prakan, just outside the capital, led to a chemical fire that took more than 25 hours to put out. That was very sad for a firefighter to lose his live and I hope that those others hospitalised recover ok too.  However does anyone really think that Central Government will actually take action with respect to Industrial zoning ? I have been here decades and it has always been a topic raised, unfortunately only once there has been a catastrophic incident such as this and/or loss of live and nothing seemingly  happens apart from "lip service".
